Elegant Dresses from Diva Rosa

Saturday, May 12th, 2012

Here’s a selection of ladylike dresses from Diva Rosa, another Rakuten store that should please followers of gyaru and ageha styles. n_n

Chiffon A-Line Dress with Beading

We’ll start this post out a little casually, but don’t worry, you’ll see just how full-blown this store’s dresses can be in the next one!

The color selection is pretty limited, but this style of dress is really cute, and chiffon is always light and flowy. ^o^

Full Bell Volume Princess Dress

O^O

Princess dress indeed.

The deep wine red one is soooo romantic. ♥

Floral Maxi Dress

Maxi dresses are so popular right now! The rhinestones around the waist on this one give it extra sparkling flair!

I like that the color for the flowers is only splashed around here and there. n_n

Glitter Lamé Flocked Dress

I am in love with how subtle the black color of the overlay is over the pastel color of the dress. o^o See how you can only see that it’s black where the fabric gathers? That’s so cool!!

Ruffled & Ruched Princess Bell Dress

O3O~~ Almost a variation of the other princess dress listed above, but this one has rows of ruffles around the dress and I think the bodice is prettier!

This is what I would wish to wear to Prince Charming’s royal ball. ; 3;~

Sweet Lolita Dresses

Friday, May 11th, 2012

Sweet Lolita is the style of choice for pink-loving princesses!

These dresses from Refuse to be Usual are replicas of Angelic Pretty prints mostly, but that makes them affordable pieces for growing wardrobes. ♥

Angelic Pretty Milky-chan the Fawn JSK in WhiteI love Milky-chan. ;_; I wish they had it in brown, which is my favorite colorway for this print! ^o^ Oh well, can’t be too picky I suppose.
Angelic Pretty Miracle Candy JSK in RedThe headdress is included! That makes this a very adorable and VERY affordable matching set. ♥
Refuse to be Usual Princess Lolita Victorian Parasol Pink DressHmm, I actually don’t know the proper name or designer of this dress! n_n; I don’t think it belongs to Angelic Pretty, so I thought it might be Baby the Stars Shine Bright. I’m not sure, though.

Either way, it’s very girly and princessy! I would love to wear this and go to tea. ♥

Angelic Pretty Miracle Candy JSK in BlueWhoopsie, am I featuring Miracle Candy twice?? n_n; But it’s because it looks so darn cute in all of its non-pink colorways!

(And I’m trying to break up the colors here for the sake of the readers – if it were up to me then all of these would be pink! XD)

Refuse to be Usual Pink Maid Cafe Cosplay UniformOkay this last one IS NOT LOLITA!! OAO I just thought it was an adorable cosplay and wanted to feature it here. o^o

I am actually on the prowl for a maid uniform. But I love so many of the designs I’ve seen and have no idea which one to buuuuuuuy!! ;____; It’s so haaard!!

Be Ever Elegant with these Lovely Parasols

Thursday, May 10th, 2012

Protect yourself from the sun on your leisurely strolls, and feel like a princess while doing so!

These parasols from Lumiebre are gorgeous enough for ladies of any preference, as the selection encompasses both the Sweet and Gothic spectra of Lolita fashion.

Lune Parasol

Lune is a dark and dramatic parasol design, depicting a Victorian mansion in silhouette.

The fringe hanging all around is the perfect Gothic finishing touch!

Rose Due Parasol

If a more Classical approach is your preferred look, this one is perfect!

It’s easy to miss in the tiny photo, but there is a scrolling floral jacquard print on this parasol. That neutral, rosy shade of pink just speaks of elegance and class to me.

Rose Drop Parasol

Another of the more Gothic or Classic parasol designs. The rose pattern is arranged in vertical rows, and I love the extra arch of ruffles along the edge.

Picolore Parasol

And finally, some sweeter colors! Picolore is available in such dainty, soft shades. The pink one even has the scrolling design and lace in white, to look extra girly. ♥

I may be unfairly biased. I LOVE pink and white together.

Petit Merry Parasol

And the very Sweetest of them all, Petit Merry. The border design on this one depicts a princess’ carriage led by carousel horses. The detail is beautiful! You must view it larger.

And of course, I love love LOVE the pastel colors it’s available in. ♥

Monster High Dolls

Wednesday, May 9th, 2012

I have a small confession to make… I don’t really know a lot about these dolls!

I see them ALL OVER THE PLACE, though! They’ve definitely become popular, notably among young women my own age. They seem to appeal to the crowd that loves ball-jointed dolls (BJD), and I see these Monster High girls being used as bases for custom dolls a lot.

I was snooping around to find out more about them, and thought I’d share a few of the cute ones as one of my daily shopping blog posts! ^o^

Monster High Sweet 1600 Doll – Draculaura

This doll was the first one to catch my eye! She’s cute, in a Hot Topic sort of way.

I like her flouncy dress, and the colorful streaks in her hair. It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but I think they might be metallic/tinsel streaks, too!

Monster High Doll – Nefera De Nile

I was wondering what was “monstrous” about a Cleopatra-inspired doll, but I think I realize now that she might be a mummy?

What struck me was that brilliant aqua color scheme. n_n I love it!

Monster High Sweet 1600 Doll – Frankie Stein

Okay, I think I am unfairly biased in favor of the Sweet 1600 line of dolls.

It’s the poofy dresses! I cannot resist them!

The other thing I’m realizing about these dolls is that they all have FABULOUS hair.

Monster High Friends Plush Doll – Spectra Vondergeist and Rhuen

Awwww!! What a cuuuuute little plush doll! And totally not possessed-looking at all.

Give her cuddles OR ELSE!! O_O

Monster High Freaky Streaky Locks Hair Glitter Set

WHAT DID I JUST SAY ABOUT THEIR FABULOUS HAIR

And does anyone remember my ultimate weakness?? Come on, I’m sure I mention it in ever other one of these shopping posts.

IT’S GLITTER

HOW COULD I NOT POST THIS

Discounted Designer (Japanese, too!) Goods at LadysOff

Tuesday, May 8th, 2012

All right, now we’re getting into the real meat and potatoes of the kinds of shopping posts I want to make on this blog.

I adore Japanese fashion trends, and my purpose here is to hook you up with where to find them

LadysOff is a store on Rakuten that sells secondhand (but very good condition!), discounted brands, making it the perfect place to start looking for Japanese brand-name street fashion.

Mariko Oikawa Ribbon Enamel Pumps

OH MY GOSH AMAZINNNNNNNNNNG

AHHHHHH LOOK AT THESE AHhhhhhhhhhh

and this

is why I love Japanese brands. u3u

La Pafait Black Hime Dress

La Pafait is one of my most favoritest brands ever. o^o (That’s Pafait, without the R you’d expect to be there. Hey, knowing the proper name of the brand is the only way to search for it online!)

Himegyaru just makes my heart all melty. ;~; How I long for the princessy life.

Tarina Tarantino Hello Kitty Pendant Necklace

Ohhh myyyy GOOOOOSSSHH!!

Are there any kawaii-fanatics out there that didn’t just DIE when Tarina Tarantino and Hello Kitty partnered up? I mean, the result was Hello Kitty with hot pink hair.

Getting jewelry from that line secondhand is the only way to get it now. :O You’ve got to grab it up when you find it!

Barbie Beige Jacquard Culottes

These just don’t photograph well, but if you clickthrough to look at the larger pictures you can see how pretty there are! Barbie has a whole line of elegant fashion that’s exclusive to Japan. ;^;

Jesus Diamante White Fur Bolero

ANOTHER of the prettiest and best himegyaru brands out there, Jesus Diamante is often featured on LadysOff~

I’ll try to share some of their gorgeous floral hime dresses when they’re listed, but they go fast! X3
