Awesome Hostgator Deal Today

November 25, 2011

Hey everybody! Hope everyone had a a great Thanksgiving!

So I guess the day after Thanksgiving is some kind of crazy shopping day or something??

I got in my inbox this morning a note from my Web host provider, Hostgator, that every service they offer is 50% off for today only.

If you’ve been thinking about starting your own Web site and hosting, I’d jump on this chance! Hostgator is great. I went with the cheapest hosting option (Hatchling Plan) and everything I could have needed for my site was provided (e-mail addresses, mailing lists, subdomains) plus tons of other stuff I might never need but I’m sure would benefit other people!

A run-down of their prices look like this for today:

  • Shared hosting: Normally $4.95;Today $2.48/month
  • Reseller Hosting: Normally $24.95; Today $12.48/month
  • VPS Hosting: Normally $19.95; Today $9.98/month
  • Dedicated Servers: Normally $174; Today $87/month

It’s a pretty sweet deal!

Anyway, I thought I’d just pass this along in case anyone else was looking to building a site or getting a domain. c:
Here’s the link again to Hostgator’s page, where you can check out what packages are available right now!

You Are Beautiful

August 31, 2011

Holy cow! I did not expect such a MASSIVE reaction from everyone on that Lolita post!

You are all so beautiful and wonderful! ;~; I tried to thank everyone individually who commented and gave me such awesome feedback and encouragement. <3

But I also just now put this quick gif together. This is a shout-out to all of the beautiful people reading this blog right now!

I couldn’t be any happier. 8D

Soooooooooo anyway, just thought I’d fill everyone in on what my next plans are for this blog. <3  I am RAPIDLY filling up the shopping pages for the Boutique portion of the site. Hopefully I can open it soon! I know I keep saying that, but it’s because I really do get a little bit closer every day. XD

Fashion posts seem to be a big hit, so I’d like to share some more outfits and coordinates and stuff. There are a couple of category links on the Home page that still lead to 404 pages because there aren’t any posts in that category oAo So, I’ve got to get to work on those. Fashion posts it is!

Also, cartoons! I have not even touched on this blog about how much I love cartoons and toys. With My Little Pony Friendship is Magic’s second season just around the corner, I want to highlight some of my favorite episodes and toys that have been released so far. :D ALSO I have just gotten into the new Thundercats cartoon and want to review it briefly. Maybe I’ll do that one tomorrow. Yeah. We’ll see a Thundercats post tomorrow. BD

ALSOOO fajsldkalf did you guys know that Natsume is releasing two Harvest Moon games in mid-September, within a week apart from one another? O_O The first is Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns, which I’ve been greatly looking forward to because it looks sooooo pretty and has some seriously cute characters. :D The announced release date is September 20 but the guy at Gamestop said they’d have it on the 21st (this seems to be normal for HM games).

The other game is Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny on the Wii. I loved Rune Factory Frontier to bits and I’m a huge fan of the RF series. I might have to skip on this one since I don’t really have the funds to spend on a big game like this, nor the time to sit down and immerse myself in a console game, but I want to keep my eye on it anyway just because I adore the series so much. It ALSO has some pretty rad characters, and the game world is gorgeous. <3 Tides of Destiny’s release date is Sept 27 (which probably means Sept 28).

Hummmmm I think that’s about all the updates I can think of for now. o3o Yeah. Will talk about Thundercats tomorrow and after that I’ll work on filling out all of this blog’s category tags so there won’t be any more 404 errors. Woo!

Btw I totally meant it when I said you all were beautiful. :D I could never properly express how much I appreciate you awesome readers. ; 3;~ HUGS AND KISSES FOREVERRRRRR

August 2, 2011

Hey, all!

Man, I have still not gotten myself into the habit of blogging here frequently. I’m working on it!

I spent this past weekend working on SO MUCH STUFF. <3 The commissions and Fiverr gigs have been going great. Keep it up, people! I LOVE doing this stuff for you, and I also don’t mind the contributions going toward putting food on my table.

EXCELLENT PROGRESS ON THE BOUTIQUE FRONT, YOU GUYS. I know it seems like zero progress is happening related to the Boutique, but it’s because all of the pages I’m working on are set to Private since I’m still working out kinks and stuff. Things are coming together really smoothly though and I would LOVE to have the shopping cart up and running on this site before the Summer is up!

This post probably doesn’t mean much of anything to anybody reading this, but I just like to post every once in a while just to keep this place alive. WHEN ALL SETTLES DOWN I cannot wait to start using this blog to post shopping excursions and reviews and talk about clothes and makeup and 8D

Yeah, I really need to work on filling out these posts, since a few of the categories on the Home page still just lead to 404 pages. I AM FAILING MY DUTY AS A BLOGGER. ;^; I’m trying to do better!

Maybe I’ll talk about, like, shoes or something before the week is up.

about shoes?

New Navigation!

June 14, 2011

Have you guys seeeeeeen the home page lately? 8D

I finally prettied up my table of contents! I think that this Web site accurately summarizes my personality and interests as a whole now, and expresses this on the main page. I hope that people who meander their way on to this site can glimpse at it and at once have an understanding of the content expected to be seen on here.

The navigation sidebar on the left is about to be ravamped, too.

If you check the site frequently, you might catch it gradually filling out. XD

  • The bloomers I finished sewing like a week ago. XD
  • This one art work I finished several days ago and haven’t posted here yet even though it’s on DA and I promised myself I would update this site simultaneously with any art I posts on DA or Tumblr ARGH.
  • A new comic of some kind.

And that’s it for this post I think.

E3 2011 and Other Fun

June 10, 2011

Ahhhh I am not updating this blog nearly as much as I’d like too! >A<

SO BASICALLY here are the things I’m working on now:

  • Reworking the layout of the Table of Contents on the home page.  It will have lots of pictures and look pretty instead of just boringly listing all of the categories I post in.
  • Posting all of my Boutique products, making graphics for them, making sure the shopping cart scripts all work… These are all things that are happening.  Right now, behind the scenes.  Every day.
  • Some little art work doodles that I haven’t quite posted on the Portfolio page yet (like I’ve said multiple times before, follow me on DA or Tumblr for real-time updates, ’cause I post stuff there the moment I finish it).
  • Paid work (!!), providing art work and graphics for an RPG by Legion Games.

So, sorry for not having more regular comics and updates.  ‘Tis truly my own fault for putting so many lofty goals on my plate at the same time. XD

Would you like to talk about E3?  I’d like to talk about E3.  LET’S TALK ABOUT E3.

All kinds of cool stuff.  Cool, expensive stuff.  Stuff that I’ll be admiring from afar and probably not actually have in my possession until like two years after everyone else. ;-;

I’m just gonna quickly go over a few of the games I’m interested in from this year’s E3 lineup.  You won’t find extensive game coverage on this blog.  If you want WiiU specs and speculations (heh!), you have a bamillion other blogs to check out.  I’m going to talk about the pretty games with the cute main characters that grow flowers and make friends with monsters.

Yeah, games like Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny.  I was really, really surprised that Natsume tackled this one, since Rune Factory Frontier was handled by XSeed.  Natsume seems especially emboldened lately, what with their amazing localization jobs on Rune Factory 3 and Lufia.  I think that Tides of Destiny is gonna be cooool. X3

What made it so surprising that Tides of Destiny was shown off at this year’s E3 was that Natsume had already announced they were going to showcase Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns.  HARVEST MOON ADORABLENESS OVERDOSE.

Just look at those cuuuuute animals. <3  The scenery in this game is just spectacular.

Also, Kid Icarus Uprising.  I… am a big fan of Pit.  That’s all I can say on the matter at this time.  I probably won’t get a 3DS any time soon, but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate how cool this game looks.

(Click for super pretty hi-res version)

I love this image.  It’s my desktop wallpaper right now. Here, let’s watch a video, too, sure why not.

Pit’s appearance at the beginning, omg lol.  “Hey whoa wait what are you guys doing this is supposed to be my game”

Let’s just go ahead and put this Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword video here, too…

Lastly, I’m gonna take about twenty steps away from cute and geek out over this Neverwinter trailer because I am a huge nerd.

Lol, that music. What are you even.

Okay I think that’s all for now. o3o

Ta-ta my loves! Hope I get to post some substantial updates here soon! :D
