It has been a quiet month – Patreon post-wise, but not creative-wise!! 🌸🦄🎀🦄🌸 Although posts here have not been plentiful (mainly because I don’t really have a comfortable computer set-up in the new house, due to lacking a desk… or a couch… or any other furniture on which to sit comfortably for computer work;;;;;;), I have still been creating many things!!

Anyway, posts from this month include:

• Sketching New Character Proportions – Ah, that’s right!  The appearance of the characters will be slightly different in the new game than they appeared in the Welcome Video.  There should be more variations of body type and expressive poses, too. 💃
• Harvest Moon Tribute Art~ – Some sketchbook art from my very first night in the new house! 🏡
• Harvest Moon Popuri Tribute WIP Video + Art Doll + 2018 Ideas :3 – This post is full to bursting!!  Not only is there a WIP video of that Harvest Moon piece being worked on, but you can also see a rough sketchbook drawing of an art doll I’d like to create.  AND! There is information about how, in 2018, I’d like for my Patreon to have content for my general (non gamedev-related) art and sewing creations. 😽
• Popuri WIP Progress + Happy Holidays!! – Another quick WIP before the finishing touches on this piece were done, and warm holiday wishes~ ☕

January shall pick up again, because I will have real furniture by then! 😄 Have a safe, comfortable, and joyful new year, my dears!! 🎀 Let’s keep on creating new and wonderful things in the new year and beyond!! 🌟☀️🌟

🦄 WHAT A FANTASTIC MONTH!! 🦄

Creating all of that art for the interior of a cozy little house was so much fun, and produced such a lovely result!

And then, there was the actual creation of the Welcome Video, which was finished and made available for download and everything!! 🎀💝🎀

And THEN, work was begun on the NEXT GAME!!  Fans of cozy, homey simulation games should love Cute Town Sim~ 🏘️

Here’s what was accomplished this month:

• New Moods & Attitudes: This post is the first one to show off the different animations and expressions that the heroine shows in the video~
• Super Rough Sketchbook Pic;;;: Here, you can see the early sketchbook version of the illustrated art work that’s also shown at the top of this post!
• New Art Underway~: The next stage of the WIP for that art again~ 🎨
• Last Little Flavorful Touches for the Interior Map~: Cool little dust particles and flavor text for lots of examinable items were implemented in this post!
• Neato Screen Wipe Transition: It is seriously pretty neato.
• SECRET ART: The Welcome Video has several little screenshot mockup art works, and this post is the first one to show off a couple of them. 🖼️ There is also a nice list of other achievements I also worked on around the same time.
• !DOWNLOAD! Welcome Video (yes, it’s playable!): THE DOWNLOAD FOR THE GAME THE WELCOME VIDEO WAS CREATED WITH!!  Check it out!! 💫💞💫
• Next Project Under Way! Cute Town Sim!!: This is the introductory post for the next game (which is free and publicly-viewable), listing all of its anticipated features~ 🎵 What do you think of it? 🤗
• Super Preliminary Map Drawing: The beginnings of what the explorable maps will look like are shown in this post, with lots of little details for what you might find in each! 🏞️
• A New Heroine: The first new character for the new game is shown here, and it is the one that you play as! 💜 Do you like her lavender hair?

In December, I will keep showing new things for Cute Town Sim, such as new characters! 🙋 Getting introduced to your new neighbors is a good way to learn your way around a new town~ 🏘️

…Which is actually relevant to me, because I am in the process of moving to a lovely new living space, too! 💖 I will do my absolute best to keep up the pace of creating art work.  I’m not terribly worried about losing much time, since I thought that I wasn’t doing well at the beginning of November, and yet it turned out SO productive!! ✨💖✨

This month has brought about MUCHO COMPLETELY NEW ART 🎨 as well as ✨ SHINY, SPARKLING POLISH. ✨

• Numerous Small Things @_@ – This post details a lot of backend work that was tidied up to make the game run more efficiently and correctly~
• New font, super slick hover text, and other cool things – The contents of this post are pretty much summarized in the title.. 😁 The hover text is something I’m really proud of, especially its nice drop shadow!
• 🎀 !DOWNLOAD! The Welcome Video Early Demo 🎀- YES!!!  The first download for something actually playable was made available early in this month!! 🌟 All of the functions I’ve been pouring into this tiny, welcoming world were specifically so this could be made available~  Check it out if you have a minute!
• Yes/No Prompts, Cute Font Details, and More! – Cute little icons were added to the text in this update, such as little hearts, stars, or music notes at the end of dialog. 🎵 But more functionally, a pop-up box where the player can select “yes” or “no” (or “save” and “load,” etc.) is now operable~
• Hey Guys Check Out My Old, Embarrassing Games – This post, which is freely available for everyone to read (even non-Patrons), lists a handful of the previous game projects I have made and worked on!  Wanna see some extremely low-resolution art of mine from 10 years ago?  This is where you can check it out. 😳
• smol and ANGER – This post is the source of the preview image at the top of this summary page. 😆 Some of these characters need multiple expressions to show, and that what was worked on in this update.
• Super Hardcore Art Mode ENGAGED – Some serious painting progress was made in this post~ 🖌️ Finally, those objects that were just sitting on the map, uncolored, are all prettily painted, and with new examinable text over them!
• Map Painting Finished + Glowies! – A wrap-up post for those art elements from the previous post, plus an important, ambient piece of polish – MAGICAL GLOWIES.  The animated gif that shows them off in this post is mesmerizing. ☄️🌌☄️
• Painting a HOUSE!! – There is, in fact, a SECOND MAP to explore in this Welcome demo, and the art for its interior is first shown off here~
• House Interior P Much Finished – A follow-up related to the previous post, this one shows the new, finished map implemented in-game, with the player walking around and exploring the new space~ 🏡 Won’t you stop by and stay for tea in this sweet little house?
