MLP Custom Plush Commission: Filly Princess Luna

The lovely Princess Luna as an adorable little filly. <3 I sprayed glitter on to her shoes but it doesn't show up at all in the photos! The black felt making up her cutie mark and tiara came pre-glittered and looks pretty freaking fabulous. This pattern was very experimental. It's my first one with wings AND my first filly, and it went with absolutely no mishaps! Filly plushes have shorter, wider legs, rounder bodies, and GREAT BIG EYES. (Luna's eyes don't look quite so wide, because she's, like, a princess, and her eyes need to be almond shaped, because, just because.) Do you think that even as a filly, Princess Luna spoke in the ROYAL CANTERLOT VOICE?     ! I was beyond psyched when my first order turned out to be Vinyl Scratch, one of my top favorite background ponies. Just look at how cool she is! I was so proud of her, I didn’t want to package her up and send her away. ; ^;

Mandatory listening while crafting this plush and viewing this page.

Anyway, I’m pretty pumped seeing my first order turn out so successfully and can’t wait to get started on the next ones. Keep ’em coming, people! 😀

Frilly Bows Plush

Yessir, I plushed my own art!! Frilly Bows is, I suppose, my “self-insert OC” in the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic universe. (I would link to my original drawing of her but I don’t like it very much so this sentence is a placeholder until I upload the drawing that I like better.)

Hand-sewn from felt. Eyelashes, iris, and those white shiny highlights are embroidered on.

This was way fun. I just threw it all together in only a few days. Sculpting hair out of felt into those curls and swoops is, like, the most therapeutic thing. You just take your sheet of felt and freestyle with the scissors and in the end you get some fantastifabulous hair.

And I just happened to have some brown grosgrain ribbon in just the right width to actually put some real bows in her hair without just making fake-bows out of felt shapes.

IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL.

The main character from one of my most favoritest video games of all time, Rune Factory. He is entirely hand-sewn and his body and hair are made from felt, while his clothing is cotton fabric (among other odds and ends of materials).

I could probably never fully express how proud and happy I am with this plush.

From the colorful cast of everyone’s favorite trivia-boasting talking bean dogs, Mameshiba.

Machine-sewn from soft, cuddly fleece, and stuffed with love and knowledge. This is a large plush, about the size of the pillow you (hopefully) have on your bed.
