My entry of Popuri for the Harvest Moon Collaboration Project.

Popuri, yeah! The cutest Harvest Moon character for sure! n_n She was really what drew me into the series back in the day, with that awesome pink poofy hair! Now she’s off to her super important job of watering the sidewalk outside the Florist’s Shop.

Haha, oh man, this was crazy fun, and didn’t have a lot of planning behind it (freeform is great! *o*), and ASDKFSLAFJK COLORS, and tea parties are awesome. The flowers (Petunia and Rosie) are from the Flower Fields world in Paper Mario, and while I was looking up reference pictures it made me want to play Paper Mario again so bad. @_@

This is Maimai, a new character introduced on the Wish Me Mell blog. Mell herself is a newcomer to the Sanrio character lineup as well. I love the pastel colors and scrapbooky pressed flowers and super sweet storybook blog updates. ; 3;~

To achieve a softer coloring look and to keep my coloring process more free-flowing rather than tedious, I tried out putting all of my colors on TOP of the lineart layer. c: It created a softness that maybe no one notices but me? XD

Fun fact: When I’m browsing the Wish Me Mell blog, my autotranslate keeps turning the name “Maimai” into “Snails.” Okay.

I finallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy started played Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.

And there was this Venus Djinni chillin in some flowers, so I was like “I’MA GETCHU” and then he dove under the flowers, so I whirlwinded him out and omg his name was Flower and he had a flower on his tail and it was such an overdose of cute I just

I just couldn’t

take it.

This whole game makes me feel like that. I am being barraged with cute and with nostalgia and all video games should do this.

Milky (minty green chihuahua) and Luna (pink bunny) aren’t very important characters, but they are my favorites because of their color combinations, I can’t help myself.
