Maybe you noticed, but I kind of didn’t post for about a month. XD; So, here’s my explanatory comic.

Things were crazy for a week or so there, but I think I’m happy now. n_n Any-price commissions and Fiverr gigs are helping. A lot.

And I bought a Pinkie Pie! 8D This is the first Friendship is Magic toy I’ve finally allowed myself to indulge, besides the rather cheap McDonald’s toys. I went to the store with the intention of buying Fashion Style Rarity, but found that she’d been replaced with Fashion Style Pinkie Pie, who isn’t my favorite pony but by golly I am ridiculously happy with her.

This one is for Jen. I was ecstatic when her request was for something right in my own interests. A girl with long wavy brown hair in a pink Victorian princess dress with puffy sleeves?! Jen, are you me?!

She also mentioned her other favorite colors are pastel greens and ocean-y colors, and I just HAD to incorporate those because pink + green is one of my favorite color combinations EVER! 8D

More crayon doodles, eeeeee! Did you know that this is my very favorite method of drawing ever? SO THERAPEUTIC.

I finally went out and searched for more brushes for Sai. <3 Importing them is kind of confusing. But I like them - they introduce just a bit more randomness than the default (although tweaked) brushes I’ve used for other drawings like this (See: Giraffasus, Dinosaur, and Miss Cupcake), which is awesome for that naïveté crayon look. <3 DAT ELEPHANT. The idea for this image came up a few weeks ago, what with it being hot and Summery and then browsing fabrics with a friend who likes elephants and pointed out several fabrics featuring them. I think Angelic Pretty's release of Toy Fantasy really tipped the scale and got me to finally sit down and create this image. Have you seen that elephant? And giraffe?

Video games keep getting in the way of accomplishing productive things! XD

This is why I haven’t allowed myself to buy Pokémon Black/White yet. I just know I would spend hours with it, which just wouldn’t do considering I need to get my Boutique started!

But yes, lately, it is feeling like the tumult is turning around and everything is turning out for the better. n_n

I finallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy started played Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.

And there was this Venus Djinni chillin in some flowers, so I was like “I’MA GETCHU” and then he dove under the flowers, so I whirlwinded him out and omg his name was Flower and he had a flower on his tail and it was such an overdose of cute I just

I just couldn’t

take it.

This whole game makes me feel like that. I am being barraged with cute and with nostalgia and all video games should do this.
