This show is just SO MUCH FUN!! It is praised for depicting its sport more believably than other sports anime, the characters all within the realm of possibility for human strength rather than giving them superpowers. Many of the characters are soooo endearing (Kenma!! Tsukki!!!!) and I LOVE HOW EXPRESSIVE THEIR FACES ARE DRAWN… When they frown, they frown so hard.

I can say without exaggeration that this is my favorite anime of all time.  It is FILLED with wonderful, happy stories.  The characters are so beautiful and colorful!  AND THE MUSIC.  The songs are SO. GOOD.  This is the anime that got me into voice actors. PLEASE just watch the beginning of the first video, and if the dance number doesn’t completely sell you then I will personally refund your wasted time.
