Monster High Dolls
Wednesday, May 9th, 2012
I have a small confession to make… I don’t really know a lot about these dolls!
I see them ALL OVER THE PLACE, though! They’ve definitely become popular, notably among young women my own age. They seem to appeal to the crowd that loves ball-jointed dolls (BJD), and I see these Monster High girls being used as bases for custom dolls a lot.
I was snooping around to find out more about them, and thought I’d share a few of the cute ones as one of my daily shopping blog posts! ^o^

Monster High Sweet 1600 Doll – Draculaura
This doll was the first one to catch my eye! She’s cute, in a Hot Topic sort of way. I like her flouncy dress, and the colorful streaks in her hair. It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but I think they might be metallic/tinsel streaks, too! |
| Monster High Doll – Nefera De Nile
I was wondering what was “monstrous” about a Cleopatra-inspired doll, but I think I realize now that she might be a mummy? What struck me was that brilliant aqua color scheme. n_n I love it! |

Monster High Sweet 1600 Doll – Frankie Stein
Okay, I think I am unfairly biased in favor of the Sweet 1600 line of dolls. It’s the poofy dresses! I cannot resist them! The other thing I’m realizing about these dolls is that they all have FABULOUS hair. |
| Monster High Friends Plush Doll – Spectra Vondergeist and Rhuen
Awwww!! What a cuuuuute little plush doll! And totally not possessed-looking at all. Give her cuddles OR ELSE!! O_O |
