I have a small confession to make… I don’t really know a lot about these dolls!
I see them ALL OVER THE PLACE, though! They’ve definitely become popular, notably among young women my own age. They seem to appeal to the crowd that loves ball-jointed dolls (BJD), and I see these Monster High girls being used as bases for custom dolls a lot.
I was snooping around to find out more about them, and thought I’d share a few of the cute ones as one of my daily shopping blog posts! ^o^

Monster High Sweet 1600 Doll – Draculaura
This doll was the first one to catch my eye! She’s cute, in a Hot Topic sort of way.
I like her flouncy dress, and the colorful streaks in her hair. It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but I think they might be metallic/tinsel streaks, too! |

I did a lot of paper collage work when I was in college! It was just the easiest way to toss big blocks of colors, patterns, and textures around, like I love doing in digital works, translated into traditional media. I’ve never made a typical scrapbook, but there are SO MANY creative things you can do with these papers and tools!
